Challenge
When Thomas (EuPC) initiated the launch of the European Plastic Films (EuPF) sector group, the organization lacked the digital infrastructure needed to unify the industry and influence European policy. My role was to act as a strategic partner, evolving a legacy concept into a modern, professional brand and a high-performance digital ecosystem.
Approach
EuPF entered the market with only a dated conceptual logo and the complex task of representing the plastic film industry to both key stakeholders and the general public.
My approach focused on strategic alignment:
-
Identity Audit: Analyzing the existing legacy assets to understand the core mission of the EuPC parent organization while carving out a unique space for the EuPF group.
-
Stakeholder Needs: Identifying that the platform needed to serve three distinct audiences: internal members, legislative bodies in the EU, and the public.
-
Iterative Consulting: Working closely with leadership to ensure that every design choice; from typography to site architecture; projected authority, transparency, and innovation.
Solution
I delivered a comprehensive brand and digital suite designed for long-term scalability and professional advocacy:

Visual Identity & Brand Collateral: I modernized the visual language, starting with a refreshed logo and extending to "slick" corporate assets including presentation decks and official letterheads. This ensured that every piece of communication from EuPF met the high standards of European industrial representation.
A key pillar of this project was translating the abstract complexities of the European plastic industry into a visual language. I developed a flagship communication suite, including a high-stakes slidedeck (re-)designed to bridge the gap between technical industry data and legislative advocacy (shown here, original -> reimagined).

Custom Web Infrastructure: Built from the ground up, the website serves as a multi-functional "Public Hub."

-
Educational Repository: Integrated specialized modules to explain complex European law and the industry's importance to the average citizen.
-
Engagement Tools: Built-in blog functionality for policy updates and a centralized "link-tree" utility for streamlined social media navigation.
-
Member Visibility: A dedicated directory to highlight key members, fostering a sense of community and industry strength.
Bridging the Communication Gap:
Strategic Presentation Design
The European plastic film industry is governed by abstract, multi-layered regulations. To facilitate clearer dialogue between EuPF and European legislators, I developed a high-impact flagship presentation.
-
The Strategy: I distilled complex legislative frameworks into intuitive visual metaphors and data-driven narratives. By aligning the deck with the new visual identity, I ensured that every slide reinforced the organization’s authority, making abstract industry challenges both tangible and urgent for policy-makers.
-
Visual Metaphors: Turning a complex supply chain into a simple iconographic flow.
-
Information Hierarchies: Guiding the viewer’s eye to the most important data point first.
